LORETTO, Pa. (Oct. 17, 2011) – The Saint Francis University men's cross country team broke into the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Mid-Atlantic Regional Ranks, Monday.
The previously unranked Red Flash enter the poll, 15th in the region behind the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Princeton, Villanova and Penn State stand atop the Mid-Atlantic regional ranks. SFU posted a second-place finish Saturday at the Leopard Invitational led by
Chris Mills (Pikesville, Md./Western Tech) who claimed the individual title with a time of 25:47.6. Mills led a majority of the race and held off the kick of American's Mark Allen. The Red Flash have posted solid time in 2011 and have yet to use 2010 NEC Rookie of the Year

Saint Francis will take this weekend off to prepare for the Northeast Conference Championships Oct. 29 in Holmdel, N.J. The Red Flash are looking to improve on a second place finish in 2010.
