LORETTO, Pa. (Nov. 14 2011) – Terrace Bourne (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. Dupont) earned honorable mention National Defensive Lineman of the Week from the College Football Performance Awards, Monday.
The freshman recorded four tackles against Bryant with three going for a loss and one for a sack. The native of Wilmington, Del. has picked things up over the past three weeks with six tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble. On the season Bourne ranks seventh on the team in tackles with 37, while leading the team in tackles for loss with 10.5 and sacks with six. The Red Flash rookie currently ranks sixth in the NEC in sacks and fourth in sacks among defensive lineman. His six sacks are the most by a non-linebacker in nearly 10 seasons for SFU.
