LORETTO, Pa. (Dec. 13, 2012) – Saint Francis U track and field head coach Doug Hoover announced the addition of Kyle Gibson to his staff, Thursday.
                                                                                                                                                                             
“I'm excited to welcome Coach Gibson to the SFU family as he begins his coaching career,” Hoover said. “He brings a passion for the sport, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to help our student-athletes succeed and grow academically and athletically. He'll work directly with our mid-distance and distance runners on the track & field team, as well as our cross country teams.  In addition, he's going to assume some administrative responsibilities that will help us as we continue to develop across all our event areas in track & field.”
 
Gibson joins the Red Flash coaching staff after completing his degree in psychology at California University of Pennsylvania. Gibson, a distance runner and member of the Cal cross country squad, posted a personal best of 9:40.86 at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Track and Field Championship this past spring.
