LORETTO, Pa. (Sept. 11, 2012) – The Saint Francis University Football team named its weekly team awards Tuesday following its win against Bryant.
Following wins this season head coach
Chris Villarrial and his staff will name team awards singling out student-athletes who posted excellent weeks. The awards include the traditional offensive, defensive and special teams player of the week but also the awards also single out members of the scout team that helped SFU to a victory.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
John Kelly (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora), Dan Conley (Burgettstown, Pa./Burgettstown) and Khairi Dickson (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic)
Kelly and Dickson racked up 286 yards on the ground for the Red Flash as they led SFU to the program's first ever win against conference rival Bryant. Dickson earned NEC rookie of the week honors after posting 148 yards on the ground and earned his first college touchdown. Conley cleared the way for the Red Flash runners while also picking up a key first down for the Flash on a six yard reception.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bishop Neal (Clairton, Pa./Clairton)
Neal earned NEC Defensive Player of the Week and The Sports Network's National Defensive Player of the Week award. The native of Clairton, Pa. led SFU with 13 tackles with one tackle for loss, an interception and a safety. Neal's safety gave the Flash a 15-14 lead in the second quarter and his interception late in the fourth sealed the win for the Flash.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Grant Price (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll)
Price continued his excellent play to open the season with five punts, the sophomore placed four inside the Bryant 20 and one inside the Bulldog five. With 12 punts this season, Price holds a 43.3-yard average with a long of 53 yards. |

OFFENSIVE SCOUT TEAM PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Matt Camilletti (Bangor, Pa./Pius X)
Camilletti had the tough task of working against the Red Flash defense as they prepared for the Bulldogs. Camilletti also prep the SFU special teams unit and once during the week leading up to the contest against Bryant burned the first team kick coverage unit for a kick return for a touchdown. |

Shane Morris (Revloc, Pa./Central Cambria)
In preparation for Bryant, a team with a great deal of size, Morris gave the Red Flash offense an excellent look at what they would face. The Central Cambria graduate was singled out for the award by coach Villarrial |

HIT OF THE WEEK
Cody Reimers (Wilson, N.Y./Wilson Central)
Reimers picked up the Red Flash hit of the week with a clean hit on Bryant's Jordan Harris on kickoff coverage. The sophomore from Wilson, N.Y. continues his growth and has found a role on the special teams unit and his hit in the second quarter electrified the Red Flash sideline.
