LORETTO, Pa. (April 29, 2013) – Saint Francis University head tennis coach Paul Tobin has resigned after three seasons, Director of Athletics
Bob Krimmel announced on Monday.
Tobin compiled a 21-46 record on the men's side and a 26-40 record with the women's team over the three seasons. Tobin guided the women's team to a program record 13 wins in 2013.
Off the court, Tobin's teams committed to raising money and awareness for childhood cancer. Since 2011, the Saint Francis tennis programs raised a total of $5,300 for Alex's Lemonade Stand through grassroots fundraising and website donations. He was also instrumental in raising $8,000 for liver cancer research in honor of a fellow coach suffering from the disease.
Associate Athletic Director,
Jim Brazill, will assume responsibility for the program's day-to-day operations. A search for the next head coach will begin immediately.
