FULL ATHLETICS HONOR ROLL

LORETTO, Pa. (May 17, 2013) – Led by 33 student-athletes who earned perfect 4.0 grade-point-averages, 299 Red Flash have been named to the Saint Francis University Athletic Department's Spring 2013 Academic Honor Roll.  SFU student-athletes must earn a GPA of 3.0 or high for inclusion on the list.

Combined with the fall total of 35, 68 SFU student-athletes earned 4.0s during the 2012-13 academic year.  The department also recognized the 173 Red Flash with a GPA of 3.5 or higher – an increase of 40 compared to the spring 2012 total.

Earlier this month it was announced that, Saint Francis student-athletes stretched their string of semesters with a GPA of 3.0-or-higher to 29 – a run spanning 14-and-a-half years.  The Red Flash posted a collective 3.171 GPA.

University Bands tallied a department-high 41 honor roll selections and boasted seven members with 4.0s.  Swimming landed five 4.0 student-athletes on the list.  The football team had 34 selections to the honor roll.
