Round Two Results
PULLMAN, Wash. (May 17, 2013) – The Saint Francis U men's golf team continued play in NCAA Regionals on Friday with the second round of action.
The Red Flash shot a team score of 314 on Friday and remain in 14
th place, 25 shots behind 13
th place Princeton. No. 1 ranked California continues to lead the tournament at 35-under par and hold an 11-stroke lead over second place Southern California.
Shane Crampton (London, Ontario, Canada/Saunders Secondary) posted the best individual score of the day for SFU, a 77, but remains in 75
th place in the field of 75 with a total score of 160.
Jeff Chastel (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) is the highest ranking Red Flash in a tie for 66
th after posting a two-day score of 151 (71-80).
Chris Stricek (Binghamton, N.Y./Windsor)'s 152 (73-79) has him in a tie for 69
th.
James Ferguson (Altoona, Pa./Tyrone) fired a 79 in round two and has sole possession of 71
st while
Kevin Fawcett (London, Ontario, Canada/Oakridge Secondary) sits in a tie for 73
rd with a two-round score of 159 (80-79).
Sam Smith of Southern California remains the individual leader at 18-under par.
Saint Francis concludes its run at NCAA Regionals with the final round of play on Saturday.
