PRINCETON, N.J. – The Saint Francis women's cross-country team placed 20th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional 6K in a field that consisted of 30 teams at Princeton Cross Country Course on Friday.
Sophomore
Morgan Kiebler (Export, Pa./Kiski Area) led the way for Saint Francis placing 102th in a field of 200 runners. Kiebler completed the 6K course in 23:19.1 with an average pace of 6:15.4.
Danae Peters (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) placed second on the Red Flash squad with a time of 23:23.5 averaging a pace of 6:16.4, placing 109th overall.
Freshman
Angel Barber (Camp Hill, Pa. /East Pennsboro) placed third for Red Flash with a time of 23:31.8 and an average of 6:18.6, placing 123rd overall. Just one tenth of a second separated teammates
Hannah Weber (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) and
Danielle DiCello (McDonald, Pa./Canon McMillan), placing in 138th and 139th overall.
Penn State placed first with an overall score of 60. The Nittany Lions averaged a time of 21:17 and a total time of 1:46:29. The Red Flash averaged a 23:39 on the 6K course.Â
