LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Saint Francis Red Flash men's track and field team kicked off the 2015-16 indoor campaign at the Bucknell Bison Opener on Saturday at Bucknell University.

Three Frankies placed in the top ten in the men's 300-meter dash.
Daniel Meyer (Somerset, Pa./Somerset Area) placed the Flash with a first place finish, while
Nicholas Conway (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) finished in fourth place and Dashaun Jackson finished eighth. Meyer finished third in the 60-meter dash.
In the 200-meter dash, George Ryan finished in eight place, while teammate Anthony Cruz placed 10
th. Ryan placed third in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:09.65, while
Marcus Edwards (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) finished in eighth place with a time of 1:12.59.
Two members of the Red Flash placed in the top ten in the men's 60-meter hurdle.
Nicholas Conway (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) finished in third place, while Jackson finished in sixth place. Conway also finished third in the 60-meter hurdles, while Jackson claimed eighth place.
In the men's high jump, Cruz, Conway, Nicholas McKnight and
Nicholas Miller (Bear, Del. /Salesianum) tied for third place with each jumping 1.96m.
Easton Plummer cleared 4.20m in the men's pole vault – good enough for sixth place.
Blake Over (Roaring Spring, Pa./Northern Bedford) finished in third place in the long jump with a jump of 6.73m, and
Solomon Simpkins (Aberdeen, N.J./Matawan) IV placed eighth in the event.
Shamsiddin Little (Paulsboro, N.J./Paulsboro) finished in seventh place with a throw of 15.35m.
Saint Francis returns to action on Jan.9 at the Penn State Relays.
