PRINCETON, N.J. – Select student-athletes from the Saint Francis men and women's track and field teams competed at the three-day ECAC/IC4A Championships held at Weaver Stadium on the campus of Princeton University this past weekend.
Jordan Collins (Bayport, N.Y./Bluepoint) recorded a sixth place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 44.58m and placed 11th in the shot put with a mark of 13.70m. In the hammer throw, Collins placed 14th with a mark of 51.19m.
Shayla Rivers (Sicklerville, N.J./Winslow Township) took 27th in the preliminaries of the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.58.
On the men's side, in the semi-final of the 110m hurdles,
Nicholas Conway (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) took ninth with a time of 14.71s.
In the preliminaries of the 110m hurdles,
Anthony Cruz (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) finished 22nd with a time of 14.81s.
Jay Stone (York, Pa./Central York) finished sixth in the finals of the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.73s.
Dashaun Jackson (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg) placed 20th in the preliminaries in both the 400m and 110m hurdles. In the 400m hurdles, Jackson clocked in at 53.78s and in the 110m hurdles, he finished with a time of 14.44s.
In the high jump,
Nicholas Miller (Bear, Del. /Salesianum) landed a mark of 2.02m.
Jeremie Venne (Greely, Ontario, Canada/Ecole secondaire catholique Franco-Cite/ University of Ottawa) registered a 15th place finish in the 1,500m run with a time of 3:52.98.
Shamsiddin Little (Paulsboro, N.J./Paulsboro) placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 16.75m.
