Moore's Reaction

Highlights
- Both teams adjusted to the elements in the first half as a steady rain hit the pitch and neither team generated many scoring chances. That all changed with just 13 seconds to play in the half as Mario Mastrangelo (Venetia, Pa/Peters Township) got on the end of a Rosa free kick and flicked it past the charging ODU keeper to give the Red Flash a 1-0 halftime lead.

- Rosa put the Red Flash in front for good with his first career tally one minute later, collecting a rebound from his own shot and beating the keeper.
- Mastrangelo added his second of the match in the 62nd minute thanks to some strong work from Kirchhoff. The freshman winger fed Mastrangelo in front of goal and he buried to tie Kiernan for the team-lead with three goals.
- Kirchhoff walked in on goal in the 70th minute and beat the keeper in a one-on-one opportunity to increase the Saint Francis lead to 5-2. Like Rosa, it was his first career goal.
- The Monarchs added a consolation goal in the 86th minute to wrap up the scoring.
