FLASH QUOTES
"I am proud of this team. I am proud of everything we accomplished this year. It's not the way we wanted to finish, but we did everything that we could in the semifinals. We will miss our three seniors that gave us great support and great leadership." - head coach Maria Bettiana Ceretta

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Rider scored twice over a span of five minutes and 16 seconds toward the end of the first half till the start of the second half to secure the victory.

FLASH NUGGETS
The Red Flash finished the conference season with a 5-2 record to notch its second-best league record in NEC history and third-best in program history overall.

Saint Francis was the only team to defeat Rider during the NEC conference season with a 3-2 win in Loretto on September 30.

It was the second time the Red Flash faced the Broncs in the NEC Tournament with Rider being victorious in both meetings. Saint Francis has been to the semifinals six times in program history between the NEC and Atlantic-10, but are still looking for a championship game appearance.

Valentini was one of three Red Flash field hockey players to register 12 goals in a single season, tying Autumn Pellman (2011) and Selena Adamshick (2013) for fourth most in team history. Her 29 points were tied with Adamshick for fifth most in single-season program history. She posted a goal in 10 of the 20 matches this season including two-goal performances against Drexel on September 16 and against LIU on October 9. The sophomore is also climbing the all-time career charts, ranking sixth in both points (52) and goals (20) when she returns for her junior season in 2023.
