Saint Francis Women's Swimming Named A CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis University women's swimming team has been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the spring after also garnering the honor for the fall. The Red Flash boasted a 3.60 team grade point average in the fall and 3.62 team grade point average in the spring.

"It is a great accomplishment to be named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team," said Saint Francis head coach Phil Hurley. "It says a lot about the swimmers' dedication to be outstanding student athletes. I am very proud of the team. It is nice to see that the hard work they put into being excellent in the classroom and the pool is recognized."

The Loretto program has been a Scholar All-America team for 17 straight semesters (eight in the fall and nine in the spring).

Saint Francis was one of 717 teams, including 215 NCAA Division I teams, to be named a Scholar All-American team for the 2023 spring semester based on their spring 2023 team grade point average and represented 17,468 student-athletes. A team must register at least a 3.0 team grade point average to earn the recognition.
