Women's Soccer Closes Out Home Slate With Win Over LIU

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> The Red Flash win their home finale against LIU by a final score of 3-1.
>> Corinne Renninger notched the first goal of the game off of a beautiful header to get the Red Flash on the board.
>> Raine Korpics continued the scoring for Saint Francis notching her third goal of the season to increase the lead.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The match was in favor of the Red Flash from the get-go with Saint Francis being able to control the tempo on offense, and it started with the corner kick goal from Renninger. The goal happened in the 13th minute and just 11 minutes later Korpics was able to add on and increase the momentum that the Red Flash already had.


FLASH NUGGETS
The Red Flash finished their home slate with an impressive 6-1-1 record which was their best home mark since the 2017 season when they finished 5-0-1 at Stokes Soccerplex.
 
Saint Francis now holds a 5-2-1 record in the NEC which is their best mark since the 2018 season when they also finished 5-2-1 in the conference.

The Red Flash will close out their regular season slate when they travel to Central Connecticut State to face off against the Blue Devils this Thursday. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen live on NEC Front Row.
